Essentials: 

• fluent in both Korean and English

• clay experience is required, although all the necessary skills will be taught in our studio

• 3 year commitment​

• Self-driven and capable of taking initiative

• Passion for learning Korean traditional ceramics

​

The successful applicant during their time here will gain experience in traditional Korean wheel throwing and onggi techniques, with the opportunity to meet pottery enthusiasts from all around the world who come to Korea to learn. The role will be primarily focussed on the teaching programme of Ceramic Masterclass, paired with both administrative and studio work.

We will provide:

• Mentorship and opportunities for practice and independent work outside of working hours

• Occasional firing opportunities for individual work also possible using electric/gas/wood kilns on site

• Assistance procuring a private apartment in the artist village within walking distance of the studio (costs not covered)

• Lunch with the team on working days and full access to food and facilities in the well-stocked studio kitchen

​합격자는 이곳에서 있는 동안 한국 전통 물레와 옹기 기법을 경험하게 되며, 한국을 찾아 배우는 전 세계 도예 애호가들을 만날 기회를 얻게 됩니다. 세라믹 마스터클래스 교육 프로그램에 중점을 두고, 행정 업무, 이메일 관리, 인스타그램 관리, 와 스튜디오 업무도 병행하게 됩니다.

• 스튜디오에서 도보로 이동 가능한 거리에 위치한 아티스트 빌리지 내 개인 아파트 구하기 지원 (임대료는 지원되지 않습니다)

• 평일에는 팀원들과 함께 점심을 먹을 수 있으며, 식재료가 풍부한 스튜디오 주방의 음식과 시설을 자유롭게 이용할 수 있습니다
